With the commercial realise of CS5 packs (Design Premium pack) being sold online at adobe for US$1,899.00 (or at Adobe Australia: AU$2,172.00) with Photoshop Extended just along (separate sale) costing a whopping US$999 (or at Adobe Australia: AU$1,168.00) is it really worth it?

Some people can’t justify paying for bits and bytes and with these massive figures could we all? Should Adobe do something about these rising price tags and these continues upgrades and offer free upgrades to excising customers? Instead of alienating them with upgrade after upgrade costing an arm and a leg.

Tell us what you think and drop in a comment.
